Going out with a school group on Thursday about 11 am, would someone give me an update of the course on Wednesday ?
Jester Comment by Jester on April 16, 2009 at 9:08pm
Played out there today, it looked pretty nice out there. I saw a few people had tore down the hole markers. No trash though, which is always a good sign. Hole 17 is basically a mud pit, so you might have to make your own path. Other then that course looks ready to go..

i played a round out there yesterday with my wife and i noticed that the basket on hole #9 it looked like someone was kicking it your something it looked pretty beaten up at any rate. why must people destroy everything that is free to go and enjoy.

Hey Jon, I hear ya! League is to kick off this week on Thursday, 6:00 hopefully as we get out there more, pick up a little, bitch alot, and the City kicks in to the outdoor chores of the Parks. Hopefully things will start looking better. Thanks for the help though every bit counts.

Not really thinking pay to play....that would be horrible. I was thinking maybe a separate bin for cans and bottles, so people down tip over the trash looking for them.

You'd kill the course even more if you made it a a pay to play. Not with all of the free parks to go to else where. Though I do wish that more parks had maintenance crews around to help keep an eye out for that stuff. The park in Freeland has people there from dawn til dusk keeping it clean..

thanks for picking up Jon. It's a shame, isn't it ?
and the tough question is how to resolve the problem. Pay To Play ?

Hey, I played the course last week, and it was trashy and destroyed. I tried to pick up, but when I walked back to 18 from cleaning up behind 6, the cans were knocked back over. My buddy says the can pickers dig though the trash and leave it laying out. Anyone have any ideas on what to do so the course doesn't get destroyed even more ?

Just a reminder that the Mt Pleasant group is playing doubles every Saturday at noon. Hope to see some of you throughout the winter.
Peace!
