I love playing in the snow in winter here in AK. I only lost two discs all of last winter, SIX less than I lost this summer season. I'll be out there all winter again this year.

Fantastic, never would have thought about that. What an awesome idea. Good luck with perfecting that. Keep us posted on how it goes.

i worked with my dog stella last yr on helping to find discs in the snow .gonna perfect it this yr i hope.the trick is to take bacon grease let it solidify and put a smear on the center disc mold button and give the dog a taste. then when you throw and your walking towards the discs landing spot tell her to find the bacon, with a nose hundreds of times more sensitive than ours finding the disc should be easy.

I don't care what the weather is and if it is dark out I'll eventually find a way to get stadium lights so I can play at 3am. Disc golf anytime, all the time.

The trick is to tape a peice of 12 inch string to the bottom of your disc. then when it goes into the snow the string stays out or leaves a trail.

Ok so last night we only tried to brave the weather. But hey, we lasted thirteen holes before the second stormfront blew in, and by then we were done, the lightning is the one thing I don't like to play in. Othee than that, we hit the trifecta, 60+ wind, hail, heavy rain, flash flooding, until it just beat us and we left the course. i guess we're pusscakes.

Hey everyone, I have finally gotten the City to agree to pick up all of the garbage at Knollwood as long as we collect it, and put it in bags. So on Sunday, May 17th, at 1 pm, I am gathering a group of people to scour every inch of Knollwood. We need people, and supplies including wheel barrows, rakes, shovels, heavy duty tools to scrape glass out of the ground, and garbage bags. The more people that come to help, the faster you'll be able to play a round or two on a clean course! So please, tell anyone that cares to hear about it, and most of all, please come out and help us make Knollwood beautiful.

two weeks ago the temp was in the low 40's and the wind was in the low 40's
we were playing our usual doubles round, six teams, and usually a seven or eight under will win but not this day, me and my partner won with a plus six, that's right six over
I've never seen so many missed ten footers in my life, one guy even putted from like five feet, hit dead center chains, started to drop in the basket but as it did, the wind got it and lifted it out, it hit beside him and rolled back twenty feet, what was even funnier is his partner lifted and got the number plate, two guys missed a five foor putt, I was laughing all round, great times
