What exactly does the word Humility mean?? I've been trying to figure this out for weeks now!! Everyone has their own interpretation of what it means(to them). Looking it up on google, and I'm going to ask a room full of people today to see what we come up with. When I think I figure it out, someone tells me their version, and then I'm not sure again! So, tell me what that word means to you...lets see what disc golfers come up with!!!

Well Shel...Humility means....when you put yourself in a situation where you are the only one that chooses the "unpopular" choice and go with you could find yourself humiliated...Jesus always put Himself in situations where he was the only One....and we both know that HIs choices were always the right ones...Humility can crush you, but the best thing about it is, it makes you stronger, wiser, and a better person...
I held a meeting today, and asked everybody to share their idea of humility, we also read about humility. Seems like the general idea is- that one that does something for sombody else without any expectations of receiving anything in return, like when you do a good deed, and don't accept credit for it, or announce it to everybody that you did it. To actually care about someone else, instead of just yourself. To put someone first, instead of ourselves. Like when you are mad at someone, yet you put aside your anger issues, and still try to be there for them in the most positive way, to be a friend. So to display the most uplifting behavior towards someone just because ...and it feels good. That's the most rewarding feeling anyone can have, and it's all from within our souls. It's a God given gift to feel and do this. Now I don't feel so bad, because for a minute there I thought I didn't have any!! Guess I'm not such a terrible person after all!! Thank God!!
To me Humility means that I have to remain teachable, not judge others and pass on acts of kindness without expecting anything in return.

"Humility is trying to do God's will as I see it, to the best of my ability, at all times, in all places."
