Would be nice if we could have a bunch of us C&S golfers together for a round, but have a feeling that will be the day when we get to meet up in disc golf heaven!! LOL, really, are you from Florida? Maybe it could be done, eh??

6 1/2 years C&S, have definitely never regretted that decision. Would love to get to know some of y'all and "meet" up for a round sometime.

Now on to my shameless spamming:

Greetings from www.waydowndisc.com in sunny Florida!

On behalf of Juliana Korver, I am happy to announce the 2010 La Vie en Rose, a women-only PDGA event and Southern Nationals qualifier that will take place February 13-14, 2010 at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL. As you may know, last year the inaugural event hosted 67 female disc golfers. This year our tournament field will be limited to 84 competitors and we hope to sell out.

Registration is now open and instructions can be found on the official tournament website:

In order to make the 2010 event even better for the women, we are reaching out to all those in the disc golf community that are interested in helping to raise the bar for our sport. Whether it’s a title sponsorship, a CTP donation, help with course preparation, helping to spread the excitement, or actually competing in the event, we certainly hope to be blessed with your participation.

For sponsorship opportunities, please visit: http://julianakorver.net/rose/La_Vie_en_Rose.pdf
or contact the Tournament Director, Shawn Sinclair at:

To keep current on course work days, please visit:

Thank you for your attention. We’re hoping that in some way, whether big or small, you’ll be able to share a bit of your passion for the sport of disc golf with the ladies.

Yours in flight,
Mark “Denny” Ritner

513 days of clean and sober living! My first born daughter is having her first born daughter at any time! She's in labor as I type this, getting ready to take her to hospital to see whats going on! Played a round of golf today, one over, yes! nice pretty day, beautiful sunset, and now I get to be a nana to two, at this time my other daughter is also pregnant, due in January...so nice to be a clean and sober woman for my kids and their kids. Life is much more clean and crisp, I get to truly live today, instead of living in the fog of my old addictions! I love life today, realize there's a bigger picture to see instead of the little fuzzy circle I used to see! I enjoyed the changing leaves on the different trees on the coarse today, that's something I use to overlook! Life is great, and I'm glad to have come to realize this. So, all you peeps out there, take the time to smell the roses, take in the change of the seasons, don't let thoses friends and family walk away without knowing that you care. We all make a difference, and we all need to realize, we must live in the day we have, we should appreciate what we can, because we never know when it may be the last time we see the day, or the people we know. We make our life what it is..lets make it good~

Well, made it to a year! Yes! actually 383days of sobriety!! Been quite a year dudes! Having some major changes in the making, as I type this!!! Don't know what tomorrow brings, but I know it will be okay, just as long as I stay close to my Higher Power, and keep my sobriety!! That's all I've been keeping steady in my life, that's all that has not changed lately! Thank God for that, He is my constant, think that's cool! Still having dreams of craziness, but thank God they are only dreams! Alright, gotta go for now, a bit delirious, and don't want to hear about the mispelling either! Ha! Nite to all! TTYL

Wow! So many things changing in my life!! Now my son left to live with his dad in florida for now until summer!! I miss him so much! Friday is my 11th month of sobriety! Been to the Glass Blown Open, and Pawhuska over the last two weeks, have I been tested!!! I'm not budging! I am so grateful for sobriety today! If I didn't have that I wouldn't have anything!! Still keeping on, letting others live, and living!! These concepts really do have places in our lives more than we think! Found out a fellow a.a. member died over the weekend. He use to be my friend. It's so scary how fast life can change. We have to remember we aren't promised tomorrow, so, what would you do if this was your last day??

Good luck Dayton! Just keep it simple, you will do just fine as long as you do that! I also grew up in Cali, in Anaheim mostly, but lived in Huntington Bch, Irvine, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cerritos. Just think, we could've run into each other, once upong a time! Kinda cool the way we all connect with each other, I've met people in Michigan that lived in Oklahoma when I did, etc...anyway, ttyl, have fun with the tourney, I hope to play the Ice Bowl here in Norman this w/e, hopefully I wont be sick by then!~
