The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I know that has to be lots of other Am players like me that have more plastic than they need.  I would be more then happy to pledge some plastic that could be sold to pay for the baskets or other course needs.  If 20 people kicked down 5 premium plastic discs we could pay for 3-4 baskets right there.  I am willing to pledge a minimum of five discs right now.

A E-bay site could be set up and the discs could sold through them.  I can't imagine that it would take too much work.  I would even be willing to step up and manage the shipping part of it.  What do people think?

I love the idea Jesse. I have a couple of discs that I will throw in. I had a similiar idea with The Course Fundraiser Challenge Link to The Course Fundraiser Challenge. Wilbur also had a similiar idea where we would have a box of donated plastic at Club Tourneys. Money from the donated discs would go to the club. It's a great idea and I think your right that e-Bay is the best place to sell the discs. Discs have become so specific that you really need a huge market to sell them. My experience selling discs on e-bay is that it doesn't seem like it should take long, but somehow it ends up eating up more time then you think. I don't understand why!

One of the things that I have learned recently is that I am terrible at fundraising. I can build, benches, ace poles and Teepads in my sleep, but I am an awful fundraiser. The only reason why the Course Fund Raiser Challenge raised $50 is that people took pity on me. People like Jesse Grasseth, Brian Lupton, Genevieve, Rebecca Duffy, Jim Johnson, Fackler's, Huntoon's and Wilbur Larson are awesome at it. You have my full support. Let me know if you want the discs.
I'm good for 5, and one of them is a first run champion boss I threw may be 6 times.
Thats a good idea. I will back it, and throw in some premee's.
