Hey I was wondering if anyone could tell me how far of a walk it is from the LTD bus stop to the course? Was thinking about riding it and playing for the day.

FIRE DANGER------- BE VERY CAREFUL ON THE COURSES. TODAY WE FOUND A CIGARETTE BUTT ON HOLE 4 AT THE GROVE THAT WAS IN THE BARK AND SMOKE WAS COMING UP. EVEN IF YOU DON'T SMOKE KEEP YOUR EYES OUT FOR PROBLEMS. WE WOULD HATE TO LOOSE ANY COURSE DO TO CARELESSNESS.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the youth conservation corps contacted me about doing some work at the course last week. I met with them and gave them a punch list of things to do. They did a bunch of clearing around 17s basket, and the pin I put in on 9. Please, if you see them out there again, make sure you let them know how much we appreciate their help! (I think ralph sent a message to all of you club members saying that the city had done the work. Well, now you know who the culprits were!)

I will be setting the course up for the eugene celebration tourney this coming week. If anybody is interested in getting involved, please call me.

I fixed the pin the city hit with their mower #11a. I stacked a bunch of rocks around it also, so they can see it better. The city said we need to flag the sleeves not being used, but flags get stolen or kicked. I met with the mower and gave him a course map. hopefully this helps. although I would entertain ideas if anybody had any.
