I have 25 left of the free 100 and I don't think I'll be buying more. At least not until I fully understand what good they really do. Anyone know where the money goes?

Wow...talk about "drippy cheeze" related to your 2nd. paragraph. Geesh. DGR.us IS the best DG site going though.
Anyway...go to WUMD website for live music feed from U of M. Plug in your earphones and listen in.

Screw the fake gifts and buying credits . . . How about the Fat Cats making all the money off this site give us REAL gifts with their real money???? C'mon ning.id (or whatever it is) how about giving something back to the folks that made you all that money?!?!?!
I'm kidding folks. I have no problem with people or companies making money. And even with the credits/gifts stuff clogging up the Clubhouse page this is still the best site on the 'net. To the people in charge(ning.id or whoever you are), I say Keep up the good work!!. And thank you for your hard work.

I am in agreement with Mr. Curtis, although if we could exchange virtual gifts with virtual credits I may be in for that. Would that clog the system?
I'm still waiting for an answer on my previous comment.

*sigh* . . I hate to be a hater but----I am not a fan of the credits. For 2 reasons. 1) it clogs up the Clubhouse page with stuff that belongs on Myspace. And 2) it is just a way for someone to make money off of people that use DGRUS. Honestly, for me, the credit/gift stuff has no place on this website.

Terry,
If you HAD to use some sort of purchase system for the gifts...is there a way to use members points? Instead of going to Pay Pal and actually paying for your credits? Example would be if I wanted to send you a gift... 75 points (or what ever points) would be deducted from my member points for that gift.
In my mind if you send someone a gift...the gift would have small meaning if it were free to send. If you want to send someone a virtual gift...pay for it with virtual money...like member points. BTW...if I purchased $20.00 worth of credits...where does that money go?
Thanks,
K.

ROFL. Well, I could AFFORD it, too. Somehow they gave me 3,000 credits!

Seriously, I have admired the disc-giving on Facebook for some time and had been wondering how I could get something like that over here. But I have no control over the credits part of it.

Terry, thanks for giving me a gift! It was driping with sarcasm!

I completely agree. I would vastly prefer the gifting to not use or need credits.
