posting this at Bandamer on Friday

I will be posting this flyer at Bandamer friday. Please tell me your thoughts. What else do you want me to put on it? Are we charging a fee for leagues? I figure if we charge like 2 dollar a day a dollar goes into a ace pool the other goes to Da Mer league money.

What are your thoughts?

I like it but I think we should do a 50% payout for the ace pool like Ypsi Dubs. The pool will still build up and that way if someone gets one we won't be back to zero for the pool. If no one gets one we can do a 1-disc ace race from the reds at the end of the season. This also means we need to keep track of all the scores. I'll make a league thing on disc golf scene and we can post them that way, just get everyone signed up on that site too. And would we do the scoring like A3 does? Where it is based on points based on your average? I think these are all things we should go over before we start charging. I'm all for starting a league but we need to do it right.

Bill if you could help me out by teaching me how A3 does it when we seriously start this I would greatly appreciate it.

In leu of Danger Dave's comment I will not print the flyer today until we decide if we will be charging. Unless you want me to print it and see how much of a turn out we get first before we tell everyone we are charging. Please let me know

I'm strongly pushing on the go with it for now team.. I still want this to be a "Casual" league. and not try to take away anything from the other league..A3, 101, cas.. etc.. when it comes to the cash thing we just need some sober time to mull it over. Keeping score on discgolfscene wouldent be a bad idea if the golfer in questions wants that done, if not we should respect their wish's that way it can still be fun and not total competition..

Ace pool can start when ever, and Dave thats a good idea on the 50% , the only thing is that with 24 chains and da mer there is no end to the season, Miah and I have been going weekly for 2-3 years now... So... Get ready for the snow B.

Oh I'm all about the snow. Mr. B and I have gone out on the record coldest day of the year for tha past couple winters now. Nothing stops us. And since there is no end to the season we will just decided to that if the pot is getting overly huge we will run an ace race with who ever has thrown in on it. But that wouldn't be for awhile. So lets just print it with the ace pool on it, no league dues so that people will play but only pay if they want too.

Oh Dave the easy question but not the easy answer. Catch me at league with paper and i will answer that question. or remind me if you don't. I can tell you as of this moment Discgolfscene cannot handle A3's way of league scoring. Pete Crist and i are working to make that happen.

We use a program that calcualtes it all, so alls i have to do is enter the scores and it does the rest. It might be easier if you get our programmer to sell you a copy. then to explain it, he has never sold one buy i know he wants to. I have no idea what he might want for it so i will look into that and then you can decide if you want to pursue that.
A3 would have no problem with you running your own thing at bandamer. If you tried to run it at lakeshore that might be a different issue.

If you are comingto lakeshore i might be able to explain it to you but monday at rolling or wednesday at hudson would work better.
