Best Venue to see DMB

I've seen the greatest band in the world a few times here in San Diego, but travelled up to the Hollywood Bowl in 2007 for one of the best shows ever. Special guests Rashawn Ross, Danny Barnes, Stephen and Ziggy marley as well as John Mayer.
I'm sure if I made the trek to the Gorge or Red Rocks I'd experience something just as good, but it doesn't get much better than that show in Hollywood.

I live a little under three hours from the Gorge, and I've seen Radiohead, Download music festival, Sasquatch music festival, and DMB there. It's an incredible venue right on the Colombia Gorge, with views for miles. There are no bad seats and the acoustics are incredible. The headlining bands have a knack for coming on stage right at sunset and the results can be quite impressive. Camping is typically outrageous ($40), but worth it for the parties alone. I've heard that Red Rock and the Gorge go back and forth as "the best outdoor venue," but I do have it on good authority that Dave's favorite venue is the Gorge

Those are some amazing pictures Sean. And they helped convince me. I'm going to the Gorge this year!!!!!!

hey now,the bands old stomping grounds in Charlottesvile,Va.Millers and Tracks,small venues but great vibes.Tracks is is just a footnote now,UV expanded ,bought the land &building and the rest is history.The music plays on.Peace
