I'll be out fairly early on Monday...I know where we need at least two makeshift bridges at. If you can make it...we could survey the area...see what's needed to make it playable. Bring some little flags if you got'em. Would be a good chance to run a Mega CTP too

The Date...gotta see what's happening...but I'd say 2nd weekend in Jan.....9th, 10thish.

Fine by me. Anyone care to suggest a date? I'll be in L.A. Jan 2-3. And the Mount Dora Grand Opening is tentatively set for Jan 23. So those are out if you want to use my baskets or actually find out where the holes are. We'll need 2, maybe 3 bridges. I'll have to get there early on one of the next DL's to look around and make sure it can be a "plug-n-play".

Adam really has no responsibility out there but to unlock and lock the gate, keep the house he's living in up to snuff, generally keep an eye on the place.

Providing trash cans, emptying them, mowing, etc... that's all a bonus now. We should not take advantage of that...by asking for more. There's nothing we can't handle ourselves in making a playable 'other 9 holes'

I have something we can use as bridges...not a problem. I think we should at least let Adam know we are trying the next 9...asking him to mow it. I don't think that's needed...we can weed eat the tees and greens our selves...full blown mowing or in this case asking for it is just another way to prolong the wait.....

It was definitely worth the effort. Something for Rick should be held hear in Daytona. As far as playing the 18 hole layout one of these days real soon......John who?

John Fletcher called back today and told me that the City of DeBary doesn't have the "mechanism" to allow it to happen anyway. Apparently, ANYTHING that involves money has to give a percentage to the city. So he suggested doing something in Daytona or Orlando. I wish it could be different but I don't think this is something that John has implemented. Nor do I think it is something that he can manipulate. Oh well. I'll keep trying to bring RCNP into the 21st century.

This week is wat too short of notice to get anything going...the 27th maybe a little better...but there again.....more advanced notice would be better....Keep in mind our (Daytona) handicap has a 500 Ace pool right now that is keeping most of us from venturing on Sundays....Rick too. He knows he has as good of shot as anybody for that hefty prize...I know he could use it too. Great cause...just need a little more time to get the word out.

Hey all, I called the City of DeBary and tried to gain permission to run a charity event this coming Sunday (Dec 20) for Rick Rupe but, they haven't bothered to get back to me. I'll shoot for the 27th. If we do it right, we might be able to play all 18 fairways.
In other news, Dec 19 (Saturday) is the work-day at Turkey Lake to relocate T2 #1's fairway, move TLO #18 back to the short position and a few other minor adjustments. I'll have Chad post a flyer on Discorlando.com. Hope you can make it!
