zboaz sunday mini is moved to 6:00 untill further notice. sign up early as there is a mando $5.00 donation to the ace pot for late sign-ups.

July 4th Fundraiser - to replace the two stolen baskets.
Weatherford Disc Golf Course - July 4th, 2009 @ 9am
This will be a fundraising event but we will have 18 CTP's with some very nice stuff to give away. Autographed discs, First Runs, cool swag etc...
The entry is $20.00 and we will limit everyone to 2 CTP's which means at least nine people will win something.
Please come out and support so we can replace the two stolen baskets.

Oak Ridge Tourney, the only event of the year at Oak Ridge will be held Saturday, June 27th, one day, two rounds of 28 holes, par 72, not for the faint of heart. Forty per person, lunch included, cash payout to all divisions.

Note; this is usually an invite only tourney so if you're interested, give me a shout.

Hello everyone! I would like to invite you all out to play the Paul Giles Memorial Tournamanr this year in Athens. It is set for May 2 & 3 and you can register online on titleDisc.com. Its a C-tier event that is being run this year by Jerry Power from Tyler (who also runs the Pineywoods Open). The Athens club has donated at least $100 to be put directly into the ace pot for the tournament. The tournament is also a benefit for a wonderful discgolfer who has played in both the DFW & in Athens for many years. Hope you all can make it!

The Oak Ridge tourney has been pushed back a few weeks due to a conflict with the tourney at the new McKinney course. When I have a firm date, I'll post it as soon as possible.

I figured out that those pieces of concrete that are adjacent to the sidewalk were actually for parcourse stations that had been removed.

I had a firend that lived close to there and I'd meet him for a round a couple times a year. A short open course, no tee signs but there were tee boxes of some sort, some were on the sidewalk. Very poorly marked if I remember right. I haven't played that course in at least five years or so.
