Hey for everyone who needs help quiting I have just switched over to electric cigarettes. They work wonderfully. You can do your own research on them. Goto ecigforum.com. I got these volcanoecig.com there is a 10%off code "deadhead10". Here is the thing...it's not a stop smoking aid per say...it's a smoking replacement. Asia and the UK have had them for 6yrs. now. You get nicotine fix...no tar...no smoke(it's vapor)...no cancer causing elements. The nicotine is from potatoes and tomatoes. You smoke it just like a cigarette you exhale vapor that looks just like smoke...that's where it sold me. The gum and the patch don't satisfy me. I like to smoke. So why not smoke something that is harmless to you. Possibly the greatest thing is that there is no smell of second hand affects. I smoke it in everyones house that I visit. They are all very happy with it and welcome my use of it. FDA is trying to ban it...go figure. Due to the fact 1/6th of our economy is health care and that is a big money business heavily funded by smokers or people who have been affected by smokers. Not to mention the amount of State and federal tax that will go out the window. This thing is legit. The best part is you can buy e-juice ($10 15ml) and that little dropper should be able to fill your cartridges for about a month. So $10 a month is all I have spent the last 2 months. good luck to everyone. I just heard how much a pack is now. CRAZY!! I have been smoke free since last January. I wake up one morning and said thats it!. It can be done.

I'm ready to quit smoking myself. I had my blood pressure taken the other day and it was really high for my age. 156/96

I'm trying to quit as of tomorrow...since I had a cig today.

I think Im about ready to make the commitment to quit. Just need that final push to stop. My goal is to be smoke free by my wedding (April 24 2010)

IT'S BEEN ONE WHOLE MONTH!!! I haven't cheated at all!! My fiancee is doing well too he's on his 3rd week. I can't believe it! : ) I figure if I can do it ANYONE CAN!! I could smoke a whole pack during a bad round if I wasn't paying attention. Now back to running. I use to run everyday and now that the smoking is gone. No more excuses. I want to LIVE FOREVER!!!
