yeah, I started young, maybe 14 or 15, 35 now and hate that I smoke. Nasty and un-healthy! Good luck to all quitters

I was gonna try to quit a couple months ago, went to the doctor
and got the Chantix prescription. Only problem was when I got to
the Pharmacy and they said, "That'll be $136.8?." I had to wait
on that one.... I'm definitely still going to try though. I want to
enable myself to have many extra days for disc golfing... and just
living it up! Here's to everyone trying to quit!!!!

Im slowly cutting back on how many a day Im smoking ... hopefully doing this will help on the day Im giving them up for good.

I've already quit. Best decision one can make for obvious reasons. I tapered back more and more as I've aged until now I can say I don't smoke. The guy playing in my group, smoking a cigerette every other hole doesn't even bother me now. I see it as an advantage, that'll be one less competitor of mine soon...

Thanks for the tips Murph ... I really do hate smoking, just sick of it, they taste like shit, little hills make me tired and outta breath, all my clothes smell like smoke. Ive been smoking since I was 13, Im 37 now. Im tired of going outside and freezing my ass of having to go outside for a smoke. Everything about cigerettes just gross to me now ... yet Im still lighting up... So I picked my day to quit and Im done with it.

Hey Bryce, i quit when i was 20 and am now 41. try to remember that quiting means for ever. you must learn to hate them. i quit because i had lost my place of buisiness at the time and was forced to move out of my place on the beach. i could hardly scratch up enough money to eat yet i wanted to buy smokes ??? "smoking butts, same as sucking ass" ! break down your habit by associations, waking up, coffee, poop, driving, eating, work breaks, beer, stress, ect. after each thing you associate smoking with ask your self, do i really need/want that smoke ? you must learn to hate them. remember when you started. i started because i liked the head buzz. the buzz went away after a couple weeks of smoking but the cigs lasted 6 years. Cigs are one of the biggest lies in our society. i feel fortunate to have quit and it was not easy ! i wish you luck and hope this helps you or others trying to quit. Murph

Hey all Im going to try and quit smoking them nasty cigs starting in the new year. always better when you got some help. Lets do it together!
