Disc Addiction

I know I'm addicted to this sport every time I get that cold stare from the little woman when I get home and she say's, you got another disc in the mail today(I cleaned that up a bit).Or I'll sneak out for a round before she get's up, like today "Thanksgiving Day" I'm going out this morning and thinking about a round after dinner.I took her camping over memorial weekend to a state park (that has 3 courses) because I am hopelessly addicted to "the greatest sport on the planet"

I feel the pain of spousal oppression. I my feels that playing once a week is too much. I've now gotten to bargaining and even lying about where and what I'm doing. She doesn't understand because she doesn't have something like this to do. I know some day it will blow up in my face, but until then, grip it and rip it!

Sweet Jim, Me and 3 of my buddies got in 2 rounds this morning at different courses and plan to get in a couple more course after Thanksgiving Dinner. I was rocking the chains today boy. I was on fire and hitting them from way back. There were 2 basket hits from the tee this morning. 1 at each of the 2 courses we played so far. Might I add that we are in Lancaster County Pa. and were playing our Mini Disc Golf Courses. What a day. Hope everyone has a great thanksgiving. Peace

Sneaking out of the house before the "little woman" gets up is normal activity for disaholics. Have you figured out how to predict when you will be home from a tournement yet? I finally after oh say ten years was finally able to just tell my wife that I am not running this event, so I have absolutly no control of the time I will arrive home! I get home when I get home, period! Even if I am just playing a casual round at the local park I won't tell her when I will return, it is pointless. When I am really late I just tell her I lost a disc and spent an hour looking for it. Does all this sound familiar? YES!!!!! I am addicted. That is one reason I designed and installed a mini disc golf course in my yard, for the times she keeps me home against my will. The mini golf can give you your "fix" without going anywhere! Try it.

I'm spreading the addiction..er, love to my two nephews (6 and 7 yo). I took them out to my local course over Turkey Day weekend. We started off with some warm up shots in the backyard first -- primarily b/c I was without transportation until my wife got home with the car. Once she got home, we hit the road. They loved it. I'm even thinking of getting them their own discs for Christmas. I know there is a course in their hometown so they can drive my sister crazy taking them over there.

Oh the look when that package arrives and she knows what it is before its opened man they just dont understand. Finally after 7 years of being together she gets the collecting thing of the Rocs(65+) but man dont let one be missing from the wall cuz its all over from there. "what do you mean you put that Roc you paid $50 in your bag" as far as sneaking out before she gets up no way wouldn't happen I just tell her hey So and so want me to go play. You gotta do it like a few hours before the set time your suppose to meet your buddies and always blame them even if you called em the night before cuz they are blaming you. GOTTA LOVE THIS SPORT now i get out with my sons makes it a bit easier

Forgot to say WHen She asks what time you gonna be home for the tourny simply say 1 to 2 hours after dark wewather it gets dark at 8pm or 5pm dont matter you will play til dark

My x gave me the choice---her or disc golf----thats why she's an x......she shouldn't have made me choose... oh well..

since i've found discaroo my lady doesn't know when i've traded or bought another disc!!! as for when she asks when a round or tourney will end, i tell her it will end when it ends.
