When the design is good, the buying intention is inadvertently attracted to me.
How about you?

Hope all of you Discaholics were able to resist the temptation to jump online and look at plastic for sale today while you were stuck with family and bored out of your skulls! ROFFL just kidding, I know I fell off the wagon today, damn turkey day boredom. Hope you all had a happy and safe Thanksgiving!

I gave a couple discs away to a young fella who had never played before. Will that get me kicked out of the club or am I spreading the disease and will need to check back with him later to see how bad it is with him?

More discs than I will ever throw. Yup, I resemble that comment.

I have always collected those discs I most want to throw. I know it would make more sense to collect those discs with the greatest market value or those most likely to increase in value. But value to someone else doesn't matter much to me.

The very earliest discs are probably the most valuable (pie tins, Pluto Platters, etc.) but those discs do not fly well enough for me to want to put them in the bag. Modern day discs blow them away. So when a run of discs come out which I love, those are the ones I collect.

But given my standard now all of you can see the inherent conflict. When I get a great disc do I throw it or keep it new and pristine? Since discs last a long time and I have more than I will ever throw, when do I pull out the next great disc and put it in the bag? There are numerous discs I have my eye on, just in case one of the starting lineup might get lost or just fail to perform.

No disc gets as short a leash as a putter. Even a one week bad streak and that disc may find a permanent place in the trunk. I know this doesn't make logical sense. A good disc will fly anyway I throw it. So the fault is mine. But I can't trade me in for another model so the disc pays the price.

A month ago I pulled out a fabulous Rattler and put it in the bag. How does it work? Great! Just like it feels and looks. Freakin superb!

I own well over 1,200 discs and I still haven't quite figured out the attraction. I clean each one with a diaper taking care not to rub the stamps of effect the quality. Then I use shrink wrap to preserve each one individually from the elements and prying fingers. Every disc on my walls are in Mint condition or deemed collector quality.

I've acquired 200+Champion Edition, 100+ Climo, 400+ Aviars, 200+ Rocs,150+New Champion Innova 200+ Vintage Innova, 150+ Discraft, 100+Wham-o's, 500+ Mini's.

Please stay tuned for photos and a video tour, I have over 1,000 hanging on my walls.

Questions are welcomed if you have any hard to identify plastic or are looking for something in particular.

Keep buying more and more, since all you want more and more.

My dream is to own at least one of every Innova disc...guess I better stop leaving putters in the basket on the 18th hole, huh? (lost two Aviars doing that)
