I have a hard time believing cantputtrob is ripping people off. His feedback is ridiculously good. I suspect it's more that he's out of town or dead (hopefully not the latter.) I've emailed him the link to this page so he can come defend himself if he wants.

Is the site (Discaroo) loading slow for anyone else? It seems really slow to me.

Re: Automatch. It sucks but I don't have the programming ability to improve it much. I am going to have to ask one of the super-nerds at my company to fix it. The same issue applies to the "See who's looking for your disc" tool. They work, but not great.

absolutely Tim! glad you like it. i totally agree with the people who dont ever do anything about a request. It's so frustrating. Also, i have the same issue with the automatch. It doesnt seem like its doing what its supposed to. It'll give me several options and a lot of them are the same people, just different discs.

Love the site. Over 25 trades/purchases at this point and no real problems, only once did I get a disc significantly worse than described but the guy acknowledged it and included an extra disc so it turned out ok. The one thing that is annoying is people that just ignore your trade requests. Just tell me you aren't interested so I can move on, ok?

Hey Coy, thanks for the beat Cheetah. Nice turnover disc, it's in the bag.

One question, does automatch work correctly for you guys? For me it will say, for example, "the top 100 are displayed below" but there will be only about 12 discs in the list.

i had a positive experience with a purchase from Cantputtrob but he never responded to any of my trade requests. Also, Joelg07 is kind of a jerk as well. If you feel like you got a raw deal, he wont help out at all. He labeled a golf bag as "excellent" and i bought it for $20. When i got it, it was more like worn... maybe good. I asked for a refund, but he refused to work with me. i just really dont recommending trading with him. he wont help you out.

Hey A. Ray, what are the user names for the scammers so I will know not to trade/buy from them?

Even if the site goes down you don't have to worry about losing money or your listings. Everything is backed up and generally server outages don't mean a loss of data anyhow.

If you guys see that the site is down please email me at steve at discaroo dot com. I am hoping that it was a one-time server issue but it may not be.

Coy, I have been getting the same message. Steve from Discaroo e-mailed me about two days ago and said the system was getting over loaded (I was unable to send emails within the site). They are probably working on it right now, I am sure it will be up soon. It has never happened before that I know of.
