Absolutely no offense to you corndawg, and i respect you as a trader, but this is not discaroo. Please save the advertising for discaroo. I get an email alert every time someone posts on here and i would turn it off, but i like getting updated on the conversations regarding disg golf and issues with concerning discaroo. So again, no disrespect to you, but i would appreciate it if you didnt do it on here. If i do not represent some kind of majority here, please, everyone let me know and i will leave this group or have it not send me email updates. thanks.

Per the suggestion of one of our users (thanks Chuck) I have added a Buyer Protection Policy to the site which allows us to refund Discaroo Dollars should a seller not mail the merchandise and be unresponsive. You can find it at http://www.discaroo.com/terms-of-use.asp about half way down the page.

Let me know if you think it can be improved.

too help out newer traders, I will ask them if to ship first and once recieved, I will ship mine ot them. They can see by my positives that I am not screwing anyone. It help them to build their "stats". There are a lot of fakes or punks out there but thats consumer beware, not Steve or the sites fault. I found the more you can talk to a person, the easier the trade or sell or buy goes. I have been suprised a few times that people on discaroo know me from here. STILL love discaroo. Great job Steve. Oh yeah, my son wears the shirt at almost every event we go to. Maybe some lighter colors so they wont be so hot in the summer.

One other question for you. You mentioned people on the course saying to stay off Discaroo. Did they have similar experiences? I definitely would like to know what makes people stop using the site because that's a key way to improve it. If you can give any details about why they stopped using it that would be sweet. Thanks.

Sorry but we don't have phone numbers in the database.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. Discaroo is a side project from my full-time job and it can take me a day or two to respond to feedback. I will usually respond right away to "emergency" situations but when people haven't received discs I usually wait a bit because they often end up showing up.

There are a couple warning signs here: the guy has 0 feedback. I understand you may have had zero or low feedback as well but I would highly recommend starting off with one of the established traders on the site. Discaroo is very much like eBay in that you need to be very wary of low to zero feedback "sellers." I am sure there are more than a few scam artists on the site but it's actually quite easy to trade safely. You may want to look further down this thread where I have posted some rules for safe trading.

Also, I would disagree with your assessment of Discaroo Dollars. They allow for a more open trading system which in the end means you have more disc options available to you. You can read more about why they work in the FAQ. Of course, they aren't for everyone. We have a lot of guys who are trade only and that is totally fine too. It's an option, not required.

I am going to email Nigro about your situation and try to get him to either send your discs back or buy you the one's he promised to send.
