Mailing my first trade today. Check out the old discs I put there for sale or trade.

Read further into the thread to see how to stay safe with trading. It's similar to ebay - trade freely with the people with good feedback and be wary of those without. As far as the other thing in his comment - it was a temporary bug, no information was lost, it just wasn't being displayed correctly.

Have you read silverback's comment?

cbass,

what are your specific concerns?

I just signed up and listed some discs, but after reading things here I'm not so sure I should have. What's the deal?

Tino,

Try checking now, there was a small bug that is fixed now. You should be able to see the transactions and details. If you get screwed go ahead and send me the details as I will go after anyone who makes a habit out of stealing (also called mail fraud).

well, I lovethe discaroo site and idea, but I sent out 2 discs to 2 different people and I believe I got screwed on the deal. Now my trade actions have been removed so I cannot contact the people by email or leave negative feedback on their site. I dont understand how that happened but it says my trade actions are blank.

Alright, I updated the specific FAQ that Bruce quoted from to be clear that users aren't selling for cash.

I also made the little warning next to where you set the price of your disc way more obvious.

Hopefully this will avoid confusion in the future. Thanks Bruce!

I am going to look into opening things up to Canada. Just didn't know it was possibly feasible.

Sorry your experience was misleading Bruce. I'll try to clarify things more on the site so it doesn't happen to anyone else. I do depend a lot on users like yourself to make the site better so I appreciate your honest feedback.
