I played once with a girl I went to school with, and she completely fooled me! She told me that she had only played a few times so I was thinking, "i'm going to spank her out there"! But nope She kicked my butt beating me -11 to -8! Afterwards I told her that I think i'm in love with you after today's performance, and she laughed and now she is my new disc golf buddy! I just hate when she brings her stuck up jocky polo wearing boyfriend, who thinks he is the coolest guy on this planet!

OMG that is sooooo funny!!!! I bet he felt like a big dummy afterwards!!! I'm waiting to get a little bit better and I want to go back and be like whats up now! lol I like to play with girls if they are serious about playing. I hate it when there is no motivation and then they get all pissy when they only throw like 80 ft. What about you? My oppion though is I like playing with dudes better especially if they are pros because you learn so much and it feels sooooo good when you beat them at a hole lol

That's how it goes. Then the guys are like "why don't girls like to play". Hence the very valid question "do you like to play with girls?"

Even funnier story:
I went to play doubles in Winfield (bout an hour away). We did random flip & I got partnered up with someone I'd never met before. He was obviously perturbed by getting me as a partner, not that he said so, but his eyes almost rolled all the way back into his head when I introduced myself. So we start playing & are paired up with a few guys who know me well. After a few holes, my partner starts to realize that he's getting a piggy-back ride from a girl =O

The other group then proceeded to burn, slam & tease this guy about how much he sucked- can't even throw as far as a girl- for the rest of the round. I was literally ROFLMAO! Serves him right.

OMG you are soooo right!!! I remember when I first started it was doubles and when this one dude realized he got me as a partner he got pissed. it was so discouraging and I played horrible because I was trying to hard. I havent played at that course since....

There are a lot more than when I started playing 10 years ago.
Chins up boys, they'll be out there. Just be sure to respect & appreciate them. There's nothing worse than the guys whining about the girls...

Oh wow good job Tom!!! ya the girl that won 3rd place is in her 50's and only been playing since May!!! Thats one reason I love this sport it doesn't matter the age you can play and kick some butt!!!

ive only been playing for 3 months, But I would love to become pro at this, Its sad I think about disc golf 24/7, in class at college, if I get bored i watch youtube videos of disc golf

Great job at the US Womens DG Championships. Also for the older players comment. I'm 53,been playing for 18 months and do pretty good against guys and ladies half my age. Keep on hucking girl. Props!!
