I think it's great for clubs like ours that don't have a tech saavy person or even just someone who has the time to set up and maintain a website.

We do in Fond du Lac. It's fantastic! It's so easy to set up and players can see how they stack up in the standings. You can even award pts each week and have it automatically score the top certain # of scores to determine the season's standings. Not to mention that each player can track their stats and averages for a particular course. I think it's wonderful. Pete (the creator/admin) is such a helpful guy too! He basically took all of my requests for changes I would like to see to the league page and made them all a reality. It didn't quite work for what we want, I sent him a message about it and he changed it THAT DAY.

I was just wondering how many of us in the club use Disc Golf scene for its score keeping and other goodies?

Kenny - I am having to do this to raise funds for a course I am building in Orland, CA. You need to get the proper form from the IRS. Form number 1023. You can print it out from their website, or go to their local office (as I did) to get it. The dang thing is around 30 pages, so the choice is yours. Let me know if you have any questions that I can answer for you.

Just like ball golf aces... U most likely write a check to the winner or pull out cash later?

Our club has an ace pool for our monthly tounaments. Since we design our own courses, only a few holes are aceable. The money built up so big at one point that we had a vote at a monthly by current members and took half the funds out to be added to the basket fund. Currently the ace pot is about $250 or so. If yours gets above $500 either split it and cap it at $250 or get all the club members to vote on a worthy (not party) cause to put it toward.

I believe that hitting an ace means buying a round at a bar for the foursome out of your winnings.
