Disc Golfers Obsessed with Playing Lots of Courses

Members of this club are obsessed with playing lots of different disc golf courses. I mean lots. Fledgling members have played 50 or so, but you don't really earn your wings until you've passed the century mark.

Location: Everywhere there's a disc golf course.

In the next couple of months, I'll be adding at least 5 new courses to my list. The first will be Laguna Lake in San Luis Obispo, CA on my way to a wedding in Monterey. In July, I'm flying to Atlanta and traveling to Greenville, SC. I am hoping to play at least 4 courses (hopefully more) while I am out there.

Haven't got my scores consistantly at or below par but I love playing new courses & tourneys. I'm hitting 30+ tourneys this year & well over 50 new courses for me, & covering 8 states. Nearly got my first ace this weekend, just got back from a 2nd place rec finish in St. Louis, 4th the weekend before in Lexington. I'm havin a blast. Back home to Michigan this weekend for a FTP series event w/ my hometown club. Traveling over 15k miles for disc golf this year!

Hey Gregg, I had a -10 once on the 9-holer at the FSU Football Stadium. Many moons ago, of course.

My son and I have Microsoft Streets and Trips on our laptop with a GPS antenna. Once we play a course we change the color of the icon. I'm also Google Mapping all ofthe courses I've played. It's a little tricky to map the ones that are no longer there... Unfortunately, two in Rockledge. When we travel we usually keep score on scorecards and then put them in a scrapbook of sorts when we get home, along with tournament flyers, restaurant menus and other momentos.

Twice as many as I..
I have a list, and checked off in the guide on the text and the map. Now keeping blog and written entry from after the rounds. Never shot a -9 on 9, I can't putt that well, even though I could park every hole.

Do you keep a list of the courses you've played?
What other info do you keep about those courses?
Has anyone shot a -9 on a 9 holer? I've done 22.

PS. 822 courses
