Disc Golfers That Grow Their Own (Food) Shut Up & Grow

Here in "Sunny" Florida get to grow vegetables almost all year long. Wish to share enthusiasm for 'growing your own.' Try to be as organic as possible through composting, using rain water, generally trying to be earth friendly.

We also watched that "Fresh" trailer you posted and we just registered to see a screening of "Fresh the movie" in Feb. by the Chico Butte Valley Chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation..... This will be followed by a open discussion with a panel of local produce and livestock farmers... This should be very interesting.... Thanks for the info

We saw the movie food inc. and were really amazed! We are going to make a big effort on growing our own produce and livestock. You mentioned something about using old coffee grounds. Does it help the plants directly or just bring beneficial earthworms?

Do you prefer the buffalo or the beef? And what does five bucks get you? A pound? A leg? Or what?

Hopefully I am not offending any vegans out there, but does anyone have any thoughts on sources for organic beef, chickens and other meats? Do you buy at local ranches and stock up a freezer or do you raise your own? Any thoughts on this? Thanks
