My top five favorite beers are 1. corona extra 2.New castle brown ale 3. Icehouse 4. Budwieser select 5. Heinaken. What are your top five.

Do you guys drink any beer with normal names. It doesn't make the beer better just because it has a weird name.

funny you should ask that. My mom called me one day from a giant beer emporium and asked what of the 10,000+ beers i'd like her to got buy for me. since she wouldn't refinance the my childhood home to buy me one of each i explained to her my "triple A" rule for trying new beers: the name of the beer should be in the form of Adjective, Animal, Ale. for example Fuzzy Rhino Ale, or Purple Warbler Ale (dead guy ale fits)... she ended up buying a Belgian triple called 'the reverend' which seemed equally appropriate.

I try and support local breweries, Lately I have been drinking Bad Penny form Big Boss Breweries in Raleigh NC, I also enjoy French Broad Wee Heavy-er, along with New Castle Brown Ale, Sam Adams Imperial Stout, and in a pinch George Killian's Irish Red
