Favorite summer ale

with memorial weekend behind us, it's officially summer here in New Jersey. so what's your favorite summer beer. aside from disc golf, what goes best with your brew, hot dogs or horse shoes, burgers or boccie?

I like a nice slow float in my canoe with a fishing pole stuck off the side and a few Shiner Bocks, normally a Hefeweizen or Black Lager, but since they're only found in bottles, and I never take glass on the water, the Bock works very well. As far as food, some cross cut beef irbs with a little Jack Daniels BBQ suace on em and a few roasted peppers. Man, summer in Tejas, it's only 9am and it's already 79 degrees, I can't wait till the dog days of August.

Any tasty wheat beer is a great addition to any outdoor activity. Widmer wheat is really nice, but they all go along with the kayaking, canoeing, biking, and everything else summer brings.

Favorite summer beer has got to be Goose Island 312 Urban Wheat. Wheat beer and summertime just go together.
