My pal Carl Renda just broke his arm for a second time in only a few months. The only guy I know who broke his arm DURING his throw, went on to do it again, in a different place. That hurts.

one time during a round a hit my brother between the eyes off a 30 foot putt....he took the hit with a full spin and fell on his face....no blood though.... and your finger looks like its in a bit of pain.

one day, my buddies came over to the house, I have (10 acres) and were working on their drives. Well I was on the phone with work and my buddy Poncho was working on his forehand, needless to say, his timing was off and I took the full force of his drive right into the side of the head. Made a cool watermellon sound and hurt like hell. I couldnt get off the phone of scream so I had to play it off for a minute. Once off the phone, I checked for blood, nothing but an interesting dent (rim shape) which has now gone away. That sucked!! I saw little stars and all.

At our course in Omaha, we have a ledge that is called the leap of faith, which leads to the other side of the course. I watched a dude break one ankle, and fracture the other. It was like there was two tennis balls on each side of his ankle, it was swollen hardcore. Plus, on top of busting his legs up, he also fell into the creek. Just imagine a screaming dude in the trashy brown creek, yelling about his ankles. That was the last time anyone tried that.

When you join our local club, there is insurance included as part of the membership. The insurance is through the Ontario Disc Sports Assosiation.
