I like to hear about great experiences in the disc golf world. I have a pretty good one. I was playing in a tourney in Winfield, KS, Octoberfriz, and the third hole was about twelve hundred foot, elevated tee maybe one hundred feet up, that played across a river. It was about two-ninety to the other side of the river, and,of course, the water was OB. The officials had a boat at the bottom of the cliff to take groups across for the next shot. The group ahead of ours was just about to dock and the official said it was O.K. to tee off. My drive was a little high, so it caught the wind and floated a bit. Just when the boat with the other group unloaded, my disc hit the boat, and slid into the trash can located at the front of the boat. The officials were not sure how to call this, because it had never happened, and the disc was not in the water, so they called it in play and I had to take the next shot from the boat. I ended up with a seven on the hole, but received an award for a hole-in-one in the trash can, first ever in tournament history. True story!
