Like monkey boy lol. Whats your tourney schedule looking like for 2009?

Im looking to play in at least 16 events this year, some PDGA some not. The 2 events I'm looking forward to the most is Disctock in South River, ON ... and the Mighty Shunga! I have a club only tourney on Feb 7 and and then we are having a charity tourney in March.

Im so looking forward to tournament play again!

I'm not sure if a proper review has been done at this point, but I'd be glad to write one for you. You can also find some comments about the course on the PDGA discussion board under Tournaments (Hangover Classic), courses (Gateway), and our club thread (Funkytown Flyers).
Here's the Reader's Digest version.
New eighteen hole course playing in old forest along the Trinity River in east Ft Worth at Gateway Park. Another eighteen hole course soon to be started in the same park.
Mostly wooded course with only five open holes ranging from tight short fairways to semi tight long fairways. Hole length is as follows, seven holes under 300', four holes between 300-400', and seven over 400' with three measuring 518', 601', and 707'. The course par is set at 62 but during the Hangover Classic not one player shot under par, and the lowest score registered plus two.
This course reamins a work in progress as some fairways such as twelve still need a few trees removed. It is playable in it's current configuration but not for the faint of heart. Our goal was for this to put Ft Worth on the map when it comes to a championship caliber course and this may very well have accomplished that. Please if you get the chance to play the course when the baskets are installed permanently, do so as the beauty of the scenery and the serenity of the forest will not let you down, this I promise you.

Hi, my name is Nascar Dave, I've been playing this game for over twenty years, having never missed more than a couple weeks at a time in all those years.
I average about five to six rounds a week and run the Sat morning mini at my "LOCO" course. When I moved here about a year and a half ago, the course was only nine holes, started a fundraiser, met with the city and now it's eighteen holes with dual basket locations.
I live for inclimate weather, I can always play disc golf when it's sunny and eighty degrees, hell that's how it is six months out of the year.
Bring on the rain, snow, ice, and wind, oh yeah baby, let it blow 35-40mph, and I'll say to mother nature, "Is that all you got?"
There will be a basket on my casket most likely.

how is it that 78 degrees and awful weather goes in the same sentence. IT DOESNT! Im so addicted i go out and play in zero degree weather and 78 mph winds! And I still enjoy it :) im defenitely a junkie HAPPY NEW YEARS ALL

Hey junkies, Just finished my course on New Years Day. All 18 holes are in. This awful weather(78 with SW winds and sunshine) is not going to last but we are sure enjoying it. I'm getting to meet future junkies before they become hardended addicts. Couldn't be happier. Sorry, gotta go throw.

Putting in a hallway is great practice. When you need to make a pressure putt you can still picture the hallway and close out all distractions. Go for it.

I have another sign your addicted to disc golf ; you pull your basket out the snow and bring it in to your basement. Putt all winter in your socks. I'm from Minnesota.
