I'm currently on a disc golf road trip.
Started at Chandler Park Joplin MO,
then Morse Park Neosho Missouri,
down to Hunter Park in Tulsa OK,
Thorpe Park in Flagstaff (saaaaweet),
today I played Thunderbird Paseo in Glendale Arizona.
I'm hoping to catch a course near LA next week!

Ramble on!

in the early days i did months long road trips without a car.my plan was to hope someone from the edge of the next region had come so i could cadge a ride.ive spent time with almost all the old road trippers.then my wife came along and realized the only way to spend a lot of time with me was to buy a van and go on tour.our honeymoon was a tour that included huntsville worlds

On my side of the Big Island the playable courses are a thirty minute drive apart. In Hilo we play in Waikaloa State Park or at UH Hilo about three miles away. Then there is Mackenzie down on the Red Road in lower Puna.
That's were the tenth annual Big Island Open will be this year January 23rd. 24th. and 25th. 2009. The event is posted on the tournament page.
Now that is a road trip.
A road trip for us is Waimea 60 miles or Kona 130 miles. Or 80 miles the other way to Manuka. Beyond that it becomes a plane trip too.

My return features 3 road trips in three weeks: Las Vegas (GCC), Scottsdale (Memorial) and Sacramento (St. Patrick's Classic). Road trips and traveling is one of the things that makes this game so great.
