I have an old Comet (Pro-D?) and I just got a Pro-D Hawk.
Are these really the same disc?
I noticed the Comet isn't available in Pro-D any longer (which the Hawk is) AND the Hawk is no longer available in Elite Z (which the Comet is).

So is this a Clark Kent/Superman thang? Are they really the same disc?

Discraft rates these midrange drivers as 0.0.

Below are the ratings from Sun King, Disc Golf Center, and Joe's Universal Flight Chart

Comet
Speed: 4/4
Glide: 4/4
HSS (Turn): 0/-2/-1
LSS (Fade): 0/1/1

Hawk
Speed: 4/4
Glide: 5/3
HSS (Turn): -1.5/-2/-1.5
LSS (Fade): 0/2/2

They are quite different discs. The Hawk is fairly flat top compared to comet's fairly domey top. Their rims are also quite different. The hawk's rim is wider and to me the Comet seems just a little bit less stable then the Hawk, but the Hawk is pretty straight, the Comet almost seems just a hair understable.

I've tried both, loved the Hawk, disliked the Comet myself. Though many players love the Comet.
