Papago AZ hole 9. Crazy mando shot when the wind is blowing. Throw hard right OB immediately off tee pad and fairway for a high hyser around a telephone pole and then back in bounds,... or grip lock and bury the disk in your friends face standing behind you. This slight lapse in judgment drove the sunglasses nose clips into the bridge of my nose for a bloody mess. Game over, not for me. The assailant was nauseous.

Florida vines sound rough. You ever dug through pacific northwest blackberry bushes? They are no fun sir

hey now, scars are so personal. They can be elaborated upon, stretched out with such story lines(lies)ha.Tatoo's are nice, but little pain,no glory like a scar story. The trailing vines here in Florida will entangle your exposed body, bite and rip you open when trying to free your disc or body from the rough. As you mentioned,a sweet scar to remind you of such a "dangerous" sport,ha.Head wounds are always the best for scars, hard to cover up.No pictures just small scars from those vines around ankles and a painfull ear from a wayward, thrown disc, ouch.Peace

The first time I played my oldest son, threw the disc and it hit me in the leg. It left a 6 by 8 bruise and a huge lump.

I nailed a guy in the ankle today with a Groove. Teeing of on 19 at Morley Field and he was walking down the fairway from 18's tee, probably about 100 feet or so off to my left. Wouldn't you know, I released low and too early and the disc went straight for him. I was able to get out 2, "Fore's," but there was no way he could react in time. Luckily it skipped off the grass before it hit him, but I'm pretty sure it will still leave a bruise.

back around 90 or 91 maybe, I played a mini at the Vet in Arlington on the same day as "earth day" on the old course layout. there were people out celebrating all over the course and on hole 1 I thew a bomb up hill that veered off a bit to a group of people.
I yelled 'fore!!!' but it didn't matter. luckily, for me and moreso for the little girl, my disc hit a tree before it bounced into her forehead, which still hurt her a bit.
by the time I got up there she was crying and I felt like a total you-know-what. it was a group of girlscouts and I apologized profusely.but there wasn't even a mark and the adults around were very understanding and even asked a few questions about disc golf.

I did nick a car today at lake lewisville though :)

On hole 9 at Condon in Grass Valley Ca. I watched an eagle fly over the manzanita and knock a player out cold. "He's no fun he fell right over"
