My 9 year old was teeing off and i kinda walked to the side and he released a little early and plugged me in the nugget, and knocked me out. I also hit my 16 year old who was plaing in the 2 some in front of me. he said he was going because i couldn't get it that far and stood there, making fun (my distance sucks) And I got him with the longest drive i've ever thrown. I wonder what it feels like to get hit with a groove from 375. Now he wont play in groups in front of me. says the only time i bomb it is when he's gonna get hit.

I hit Terri Reinl on hole 3 at Morley after hollering FORE! She bent over like a safety pin and I got her square in the ass. In 38.5 years, she's my only victim.

I think that I forgot to post the one that I hit someone. I was out with my partner at work in a park I was showing him how to throw and stuff I only had a couple of disc's with me and one of them being a putter I ripped it about as hard as I could turned it way over and hit probably 65 year old lady smack in the chest I tried to yell to her before it happened but she had head phones on and didn't speak much english anyway. Now this is bad but to make it worse i am an emt and drive ambulance for a profession I was in uniform with my ambulance parked right next to the park and it was not a disc golf park either. The lady was very understanding she had a really puffy jacket after assuring she was ok I left soon after

Last summer we were at my boyfriends parents farm shooting at our portable DGA basket. His folks were out on the porch watching us drive I went up and ripped a hard backhand with a very late release hit his Mom in the arm. She was only 50 feet away! She was cool about it, I later learned she had a huge bruise for a while. Bad Bad day.

who would ever have thought that disc golf could be a dangerous sport ok yeah on some courses you have to worry about snakes and stuff but to have a disc come outa nowhere and hit you is a risk as well, guess you have to bleed a little for the sport you love right

about a month ago i was playing a around in kalamazoo, michigan and i was up on the tee pad after just releasing and this dude comes outa nowhere walks out into the middle of the fairway right in front of my disc, hit him right below the adams apple he starts puking rightfully so, it kinda made me made cause it was a great shot i had going on that one, same note at least i didn't kill that guy cause that wasn't a good place to catch a disc, BAM right in the throat, but the next weekend it kinda happened to me, we had about 10 ppl meet up to play a around at one of our fav. course in St. Charles, Michigan and i was once again standing on the tee pad getting rdy to throw when outa no where this disc hits a tree hard and bounces right toward me i had no time to react and it hit me on the side of my lower jaw....wow did that hurt i guess at least it hit a tree before it got to me cause that would have hurt alot more.

A couple of years ago, I was playing with a group of buddies, one of which would always tee off first and then immediately start to walk down the fairway regardless if everyone else was finished throwing or not. Needless to say on hole 14 at Zboaz in Fort Worth, he was near the basket when I was up to drive I took my line and drove, got a little grip lock and nailed the guy square in the back of the head at about 175ft. No serious damage, but a lesson learned, he didn't walk in front of others before they were finished again.

I will do what dangerdave did and tell you one of both.
Me getting hit-
I stood at the bottom of a very long hole up north here in michigan. I didn't play the course at all i was the look out for discs and tell the people where the basket was. well Mary told me to stand in front of the basket so she could aim for me. I stood behind the basket and watched everyone drive not coming to close to the basket. mary was last and came at the basket i backed up a few feet and got nailed in my hand and in my stomach really hard.

I hit-
i have nailed my mother several times back shoulder and leg. thats what happens when u walk out in front of me. its a wonder why we say go ahead at ur own risk when ppl are still teeing or throwing.

Found this one on someone elses club said like 32 stitches, mild concussion, and 4dcbs of hearing loss. Thats kind of what I envision if someone says they got hit in the head with a disc. Nice job hope he doesn't mind me steeling his pic

How about I give one of each.

Me being hit:

Last year I'm playing a round with my friend Bill at Rolling Hills in Ypsilanti MI. We were on hole 14 and gets a shitty drive, followed by 2 more tree chopping upshots before finally getting up to the putting ring. After a frustrating missed 10 foot putt, he proceeds to pick up his surge and whips it at the basket. Only problem is that he misses yet again and nails me right under the knee cap. Didn't throw right for the rest of the round and had a 2 inch purple indentation for 2 weeks.

Now me hitting:

A few weeks ago the same mentioned friend from before and I go attempt to play Mary Beth Doyle Park (what used to be Brown Park) in Ann Arbor, MI. Only problem is that even though it was suppose to be done a year ago, still no course. We proceed to play anyways, playing what used to be Brown Park and using trees near to where the buckets used to be. Well where hole 16 used to be has a fenced off pond right next to it. I step up and drive, with a bad case of grip lock, making a hard left straight into the pond, and I hit not a person, but a DUCK! It swam away so I assume that it was alright and didn't feel as bad. And yes, I found a hole in the fence, took of my shoes and ran 15 feet in to get back my driver. Glad it only got a foot deep where my disc was.

I have more but I think those are the best. I hope you all enjoy.
