Hit the Sunday Doubles league but only 2 others showed. So we just played an un-official round.

The Boogie Brothers Fabulous Flying Fest held on Sunday the 17th turned out another success for Thompson Parks Disc Golf Course.
The day started out with an 18 hole disc golf tournament, which ended in a three way tie , players agreed to a nine hole play off. Winners were 1st place Bill Rohrey, 2nd Ray Fisher and 3rd John Hedrick. Through out the day prizes were handed out which were donated by local buisnesses.
A large accuracy target was built and participants had to throw from seven different locations on the field with four trys from each location to make it in the target. The winner at the end of the day was Bill Rohrey of Stuebenville with a total of 14 hits. The Worlds record on file is 25 hits out of 28.
Distance and Maximum Time Aloft contests were played with Rohrey sweeping those also.
Many people came and went through out the day, some came up from the Parks pool area to visit or try thier hand at some of the disc activities. Some drove in from Pittsburgh Pa. Ed Noble and Kelsey Hedrick shared some of thier Freestyling skills spinning discs on thier fingers and toes!
Overall it turned out great! We raised over $300.00 for the course which will be used to purchase tee shirts and discs. Thans to all who helped and all the buisnesses who donated items, without your support we couldn't survive.

Yo Billy you go man.....!!! Finally someone else to do things for the park...cool...i'm tired...heheh...Kels
