League still starts at 5:00 and that means the front 9 is played in the light and the back 9 mostly in the dark. Fortunately most of the baskets are reasonably well lit. Last Monday the best handicap adjusted score was a 49 by Duane Thompson and the best natural score was a 43, thrown by both Sam Russ and Jack Adams. The league is no cost, thanks to the generous donations of Spinners on the Green and many of our participants and prizes are awarded every night. Come out and join us.

ZZ, with 4' tall grass I'm thinking it's going to be difficult to throw too many rollers.

I was out at the course the other day and in the long grass on hole one i found a dead antlelope! Yes it was an antlelope and it was dead. That just goes to show you how far out in the middle of nowhere Roswell is. The grass on hole one can get up to 4 feet tall, if you dont mark where you land finding your disc can be a drag. I still have not shot par yet on this course. it is long and windy. The weather here is starting to get cold but i should still be able to play all winter. Take care

Good luck to you ZZ, from all of your friends at Emerald. May you enjoy your time with your family and may you find some great courses to roll those discs.
