also the galvanizing would add cost

the signs were cheap to make, the frames are another matter, we bought them with the dexter baskets and were meant to be used on dave battaglia's private course . not a public one. A good welder and some coyote steel plus some plexiglass would cost probably between 30 to 50 eack when completed. (my guess )

Her's a course map, if anyone wants it. I'll try to have some at the Tourney on Sat.

Happy trails,

Hey thanks for your efforts for the new course. I would like to put some work in but I am not sure where it is. If you could fill me in that would be great.

Sorry that it took me this long to find out where you guys have been communicating. I was amazed to read back through the old stuff and see what all I have been missing. Part of it was that I was hurt and didn't want to torture myself about missing the tourneys. At any rate I am now hooked up here. The Grove work party's are mostly the same guys and that means that many others have the chance to get involved yet. See above entry for details. That would be the Chrestman thread.

So I was out at Alton Baker Thursday and Friday, the course looks great! The big mowers were out there yesterday cleaning all fairways. Andrew had mowed all the greens for every basket location so they are cropped and clean. This course looks better than it did the last time. I really hope this becomes a permanent course. It looks as if there has been many tournaments there because it is so manicured. I really hope there is a large turnout so the city sees that Disc Golf works at this park and should be a permanent course. If you are sitting on the fence, jump off it and go to ALTON BAKER to play some disc golf tomorrow. It is the perfect setting to showcase the sport for thousands of active people who use the other areas of the park. I look forward to seeing everyone out there, peace.

I had the same experience as Bruce. I wasn't going to the tournament (because of the cost and I just couldn't make a two day event), but I had a basket lined up and ready to go... just didn't get a call as to what to do with it (was it going to be picked up, or did I need to drop it off).

Drew, I offered you my basket but you never called back to make a time to pick it up. Hopefully you got all 18 you needed....
