The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Got this the other day from Tom Embree and he asked me to pass it on. I assume the sign up is around 8:00 as it has been in the past and play will begin no later than 9:00, but I would get there early as last year they filled up quick.

ok, so after understanding that the OLE series is going to take place in the mid-willamette and southern-willamette area this year, (and not mostly around the p-town area), we are reformatting the eugene winter golf series a bit. more info will be out soon, but the tentative schedule and name looks like this...

Ninkasi Winter Series
November 14th - Cottage Grove (inaugural tournament for CGDGC)
Dec 7th - Dexter
Jan 23rd - Alton Baker
Feb 20th - Mt Pisgah (tentative)

the purpose of these tourneys is too offer disc golf to the folks that live in the eugene area (and beyond of course), make money for the eugene disc golf club and future courses, and of course, to display all current and future courses to the local disc golf community. Ninkasi will be our main sponsor, and series points will be kept track of, as well as series trophies for those that play in 3 of the 4 this winter.

of course, these will all be non-sanctioned and reasonably priced, 15/am, 20/pro to create a very welcoming environment for all levels of disc golf.

more details coming very very soon...
This is awesome! This area needs more recognition, and what better way then to have new tournaments on new and future courses. Thanks Dr. Z, and everyone else involved.
What is the OLE website? Thanks
