To describe and simplify the concept, think of a wholesale club similar to Sam's Club or BJ's Wholesale combined with an online flying disc retailer. Flying Disc Warehouse will not offer a regular stock selection, but instead is going to offer it's members a diversified assortment of 50-150 continually rotating products including selections from Disc Golf, Ultimate, Recreational, Canine and other flying disc sports. The idea is to keep these products priced right, moving quickly and constantly rotating and to promote the concept of making it easy for members to try out or "cross over" into new or unfamiliar disc sports. This can greatly increase growth in all involved disc sports from within the existing disc sports community. The product selections will range from limited edition/availability, special promotional packages, one-time buy offers and factory second deals that will have a predetermined offer window that will not exceed (30) days.

FlyingDiscWarehouse.com is set to launch live on 5/5/09 (Cinco de Mayo!)...the website will be open to the public until 5/11/09 when it will switch to a members-only based site. A limited amount of complimentary 1-Year memberships will be issued shortly...stay tuned!

William,

I'm not quite sure what you mean, but the benefit towards the individual is obviously pricing, which most people would like...most of the time prices will probably between wholesale and retail, but if someone is trying to liquidate a product, you may see a truly great price. I completely disagree that clubs wouldn't be able to benefit from a product that is sold at a wholesale price. If a club buys a disc at $7.00 and sells it at $10-$12, then the club would profit 30-40%...seems viable to me!

are we talking prices here better then retail or better than wholesale. i assume the reality of it is somewhere in between but what is the benefit intended toward the individual? clubs wouldn't seem to be able to benefit from it.

Actually, we've identified the Glow Champion discs as one of the main "goodies" that we'll try to offer on a regular basis...

Any chance on getting good deals on some champ glow plastic, like misprinted tourny stamp discs? That alone would make it worth it in my opinion.

Good deal, I understand the strategy behind that. I will be looking forward to trying the service out. Thanks for the response.
