Weatherford Disc Golf Park

SOON TO BE EIGHTEEN.
I have been working with the city for a couple months and we are almost ready to order the baskets for the back nine holes. Special thank you to Jacob Zuniga with the city for all of his efforts.
Update: I am waiting for the last two checks to come in for donations, which will be the last 700.00, and the final approval by the utility dept is expected before Friday.
This means work could start in a week or so and be finished in amonth or so.
Join me in saying thank you to any and all city employees when you see them, they made this possible.

I really like the new holes.8-11 might be my new fav 4 hole stretch.14 got me twice for double.I snagged a birdie at 13.

if you have played the Weatherford course in the last month or two, you will notice the course has a slightly different look this morning, 12-08-08

we moved fourteen of the baskets to the alternate locations yesterday afternoon and will have to replace three anchors so we can move them in the near future, also have to modify one basket slightly to get it to set properly in the existing anchor

none of this will effect play as all eighteen holes will remain playable during the repairs

update; the Wednesday Night Draw Doubles has moved to Saturday morning at 9am, the ace pot transferred over and is currently at 460.00
this weekend marks the first Sat, Jan 3rd, 2009 so come on out
on a side note, seventeen baskets have been moved to the alternates, one pole has to be replaced before it can be moved

Wednesday Night Draw Doubles is back!!! Start time is 6:15 or so. We still play Saturday as well, so come out either day.

Wed night doubles still at 6:30p
Sat morning mini at 9a
All teeboxes are now cement and all holes have two basket locations.
We're fixing to ask for third basket locations and stretch the course another thousand feet or so.

Different format every week. Last night was Skins at 1.50 each. Three cards paid out sixty skins, a trukey and three low scores. Fun had by all.
