Magic Specifications

So here's the "technical" scoop on the Magic.

The nose is a little blunter than a Wizard below the parting line ( about 1/4” ), then there is a radius that blends into a ¼” long flat line that is on a 20 degree angle dying into a 1/32 radius into the bottom edge of the disc. All of these changes combined make the Magic less high speed stable and less low speed over-stable.

in layman's terms, the magic is a very easy disc to throw. It's dead-straight out of the box, like a 5 year-old Wizard! Its pops up early in flight and can hold a straight line or turnover when thrown by newer players. This disc has a lot of Frisbee™-like flight characteristics in the way it just glides so straight and drops flat!

Instead of calling the disc the Magic, it should have been just called $$$$$$. The Magic is a very beginner-friendly putt and approach disc and is one of the easiest discs to throw for turnover shots. We are amazed at how far this putter can be thrown, and while not as stable as the Wizard its glide and control make it a great disc off the tee. With the added mass at the nose and thin flight plate, The Magic is one of the MOST gyroscopic putters ever made. This allows the discs to spin longer which will help your throw maintain its original flight without fading at the end. The blunter nose also keeps the discs from cutting through and is very comfortable in the hand, whether you have large hands or small.

I've only been playing disc golf for 2 months and this putter (I use a 168g SSS) is the best I've had a chance to get my hands on. Most of my put shots are turbo putted b/c I'm bad about overshooting the basket with a rhbh. As far as how it works for turbo putting, it's awesome. I can put from 30' away with this sucker and it goes strait into the chains with very little fade. It's turned my KC Aviar into my short range roller disc in a matter on 3 days. This disc is the best as far as I'm concerned, if you're a turbo putter b/c it has such little fade at the end of the flight. You gotta get one.

Just picked up some Proto SS's to see if they would replace the Soft Magnets in my bag. So far the only problem I have with them is they seem to attract dust and grass like a magnet, but they throw super straight.
