Notice: The Weatherford Ice Bowl benefitting the Pythian Home in Weatherford, a local childrens home. Our goal is to donate $1000 and 500 pounds of dry/canned goods. The tourney is scheduled for February 20, 2010.
The entry is $25 per person and will benefit the charity. We are still finalizing the players package, more information to follow. Please rememer to bring food for their pantry as they rely on donations for operating expenses.

There is a mountain bike trail that goes through the west course. I wonder if those are the trails you saw?

July 4th Fundraiser - to replace the two stolen baskets.
Weatherford Disc Golf Course - July 4th, 2009 @ 9am
This will be a fundraising event but we will have 18 CTP's with some very nice stuff to give away. Autographed discs, First Runs, cool swag etc...
The entry is $20.00 and we will limit everyone to 2 CTP's which means at least nine people will win something.
Please come out and support so we can replace the two stolen baskets.

The mini benefits the club because club members have another option for a mini that they can attend. It also benefits the park as the course fund can be used to help maintain the course and also bring more traffic to an area of the park that needs more activity. Those who sell plastic also benefit as people who need plastic out there can buy from them. As far as I know there are no restrictions on the benefits of a mini???

Yep, Heidi is wrapping that up. We plan to go over them at the club meeting next Thursday with our volunteers and let them make the decision that works best for the gateway regulars. From what I gathered, the times that the club prefers the most were Saturday and Sunday afternoons. We'll pass that, along with advice from the TDs with conflicting mini times, to the volunteers and regulars to help them make their decision.

Also, Heidi and myself have been in communication with TD's as well. There are many ideas floating around and one goal of the next meeting will be to narrow those ideas down to the one or two that looks best.

We'll make some announcements after the 14th as to what decisions are made or if we need to hold another poll. Until then the Gateway mini will stay at 3pm on Sundays.

Work day was awesome! The wood chipper was great and we got a lot done on holes 11, 12, and 13. Still more to do but many thanks to those who came out this weekend and braved the weather.
