Hmmm, I don't know, I don't know any geezers that are younger than 50, but I think this group is laid back enough not to sweat a few years (unless you try to play GM!)

Just found this group. Looks GOOD!
Well I turn 60 this year so I get to play Senior Grand Master.
My son got me started threes years ago and if anything, I enjoy it more that he does? HA! Still takes two of my drive to match one of his.
I had a total hip replacement in January, but I am playing better that before.
No aces, a few birdies and trying to throw 100 yards (not there yet). ;-)
But what the heck, I don't have to look stylish, or worry what people will say about me or my disc golf cart.
Old Man Golf Rules! Throw for the shade!
And who cares where I place, it all for FUN and besides, I have last place all sewed up.
I drove over to the Worlds three days last week. WHAT A SHOW!

After some special schooling I'm a "Senior" Grand? Master Pro, a catagory I share with 20 other geezers scattered around the country. I would play some tournaments again if over 50 guys would drop the pro and am divisions and just play over 50. who are we kidding, what other sports have 60 yr. old pro's.

The term only refers to age, not experience. I finally got to Grandmaster status this year, and it only took me 31 years of playing DG to get there!
