The first year round rock should have been called old hay park. They cut knee high grass the day before the tournament. Mike Sayre my partner had a hay fever bad and I never could get my footing. Me and anybody could have won a week masters but I opted for the open. It did draw the top players from around the nation for the first time in Texas.

When I strarted playing I was honored by getting a chance to play a round with Steady Ed Hedrick when he was still considered young and John Houck had just started National Doubles, being held at a brand new course called Old Settelers Park in Round Rock, Texas

Let's here it for all the OLD guys! We were doing this before Disc Golf was a recognized sport.
