I tied a loop in the end of the cord on my retriever and hook that around my belt so it can't get away.

The only problem with having it is everyone knows I have it and I play with a few cheap shady punks that look for discs in the water for me to get and when they get them they don't bother calling the numbers on the back, so when they ask I tell them **** you!

I have managed to yank several back out of the drink. And some days I just Go throw it to pass the time. I now have several fans thanks to getting their plastic back to them

The fact that it fits in the pocket of my bag made this a no brainer.I've had it a week,10 discs saved.(none mine)

You just have to have one in the bag. I've been able to use mine to knock discs out of pine trees. They don't get stuck because of the way the branches grow outward!

lost mine in the water once, went back for it in the summer and when I was in the water looking for it I found 2 others and close to 40 discs (only half of had names and numbers) but talk about totally worth gettin that nasty water for...

It can be used to get a disc from over a fence, too. Complicated, but I've done it 3-4 times with success.

Just a note of discovery! when you need to retrieve a floating disc from a pond or water hazard, stick an empty water bottle in the retriever and make it float then you never have to leave a disc behind.
Special thanks to Wayne Forest who thought that one up for us floater throwers!
