The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Just wondering. Since I picked up a Crush today, what can I expect from it? I was in the shop today actually to pick up another Flash, but saw Chad had a nice Cracked Plastic stamped ESP Crush, so picked that up hoping it might replace my Teerex (I prefer Discraft, but Christmas gift card said otherwise:(). I currently throw an Avenger SS, and a Surge as my main drivers, though I am working on learning the Flash. Thanks for the info.

the crush is pretty overstable, i carry two Z crush's, 1 is more beat and 1 is new. i mostly use them, for forehand drives. if i drive with them backhand they go straight but fade pretty hard.
I was throwing the Crush for the first time today at Fort Custer. I am pretty impressed with the distance I was getting. Not sure distance wise, but I was happy. Pretty close to my Surge, but seemed a bit straighter with a harder fade at the end (so you were correct there Lotto). I was throwing it next to my Groove and they are pretty much the same distance wise. Actually very happy with it, though I was initially concerned it might be to over stable (like the Force) for me, it was a very easy disc to throw.
Played at Begg yesterday and found out that the Crush is a very good disc for me to play into the wind. It was very breezy with wind gust around 25-30mph. It didn't seem to phase the Crush. On hole 17 I usually throw lots of drivers just to get some extra practice, and the only two discs that were unaffected were the Crush and Surge, with the Crush getting about 30ft more and straighter. Very impressed with the disc.
i used to have a crush until i threw it in the swamp at sontey creek. i liked it. it is easy to control. i had good days and bad days with it but when it was a good day i did really good and on a bad day i did bad.
