DG Courses & Carbon Offsets

Heard an NPR report this morning about a restored prairie near Kalamazoo that is able to accept dollars from companies which need carbon offset credits, because the prairie takes more CO2 out of the air than it produces.

I wonder if disc golf courses, especially wooded ones, could do this, and wanted to get the idea out there.
