Eric- My girlfriend hates that I do everything too. I think it's inevitable in pure right brained people. Music, Art, ... that's about it though. I take things way too seriously sometimes. Competitive nature I guess.

MonTTeL - yeah.. that's my strategy too. I have a binder with a bunch of music tablature that I break out if I forget a "requested" song. I stick to my own stuff. I'm glad there was a group made for guitar fanatics. If I had my choice and the money I'd need another building for all the axes and equipment I'd buy.

I shoulda figured you'd be a musician also Mike!

why do creative type people tend to do more than one creative thing? ie;artists/musicians,etc.

Here are a couple pictures of the gear that I pay as well as the last show that I played in public, it was at Central Michigan University. It was their home coming game and we were hired to play just outside the stadium to a crow of over 5000 tailgaters, it was an awesome show. The top picture is my daughter, she is the only one that I play for now.

thanks for joining Mike. I like to come up with my own riffs too and build songs off them. I never forget those songs and riffs either where I usually have to re-learn cover tunes if I don't play them for a while.

I've only got an electric Custom Black Epiphone Les Paul, standard Yamaha electric and an off brand Les Paul look alike I got as a Christmas gift once. I plug into a 120 watt Crate amplifier. I still wish I had my old Fender cut away acoustic/electric guitar... she is sadly missed. I play all ranges of classic rock to punk rock stuff. I enjoy coming up with my own riffs and mostly play those.
