Glad there's a group for those of us who can't throw 300 foot drives, or 200 foot drives, or 100 foot drives. Well, I'm getting there. I'm up to about 70-80 feet now, after starting out at 30 in mid-June. It took me 2 months to get my first par, and that was on a 120 foot hole. I was so excited, and no one knew how to react, since they're more concerned about getting 250' aces.

Okay, so I got my longest par last weekend - 174'!!! For someone with a 70 foot drive, that's pretty good. I got a nice roll rowards the hole, and was very pleased. Glad to see there's a place I can post, where people don't just look around uncomfortably, or ask me when I'll make my first birdie!

Everyone has trouble with their game on occasion, no matter how long they've been playing. Don't be afraid to offer up some friendly advice to help a fellow DGer out!!!

Just gave advice to some newbies today who were gripping the disc backhand yet throwing it sidearm.
Once I showed them the two different grips and when to use them, they blasted some nice shots, thanked me, and were off to have some fun.
Before I helped them they were all yelling at each other, getting frustrated.
Amazing how just a few simple instructions can make a big difference.
I have always offered advice throughout my career and even groomed some of my current competition, who now use my advice against me. Great Fun!

I just pick out a tree and aim right for it. Since I am a hacker, I almost always miss! Unfortunately, I usually hit another tree instead.

hey donny , it worked. i hit a tree on the 2nd tee. so i went up to the tree , patted it and said i was sorry for hitting it . and then i didn't hit a tree again until # 9. just remarkable.
