2009 October Results from Cranberry Disco and Update on the Points Race

Well, what a weekend! Started off on Saturday with the Finals at The USDGC ,WOOOOW!! then Sunday a great tourney at Stack's course,THE CRANBERRY DISCO and what a course it is. Beautiful rolling hills with Autumn showing its full colors and a layout to kill for. Did I mention the gullies? Boy Oh Boy, they can be unforgiving. I played with a great group of locals and I kept asking, "Is this a steep course?" Well, a flatlander like me shouldn't ask anyone from Yadkinville is it steep! Haven't played in a few months so I was a little nervous about my drives. First hole I threw just right of the line to the basket. Figured I was about 20 ft. off to the right, Pin High for sure, NOT! About 10ft to the right of the basket was about a 30 ft. gully, What was supposed be birdie turned into bogey. All in all though it was a great day just a little bit trying for an old fart like me. So here is the standings.
