I'm depressed

I just lost my job .....it was the best job i had since i moved to Fla. The job market sucks worse than the stock market. i would love to find a job anywhere in the world teaching my sport of disc golf. if anyone knows of a position, I feel I am more than qualified to do this. contact me at the # on my site.......THE J.P.

What you are depressed about is not stupid. You are a human and we need other human companionship. Thats how we are wired. You may not be major depressive like me but if you have ever had thoughts of ending your life, that is very serious. There are different types of depression. Mine were brought on by external factors in which i had no control, but i am still depressed. The pills are starting to work though because i havent been crying as much. So, at least try talking to the doctor. He can start you on a low dose and help you start feeling better. That way, you can take some actions toward getting those things that you want in life.

I'm not depressed all the time and when I am it is over stupid stuff. If I see a couple, I will get sad cause I want love. If I get an assignment that is time consuming and its something I don't enjoy, I will get frustrated and then depressed. I think a lot about my future after college and I have no plans, so I get depressed about that too. Yesterday I cried in my bed cause there is someone I talk to who lives in another country, I've talked to her for many years and I consider her a great friend. I cried because I wanted to spend a day with her, but I can't.

So my "depression" if you want to call it that, is over stupid things. I'm sure it would go away if I had a girlfriend, finished school, and had a plan after I graduate. I guess you can say my depression is just stress and worrying over getting old.

Right now im depressed because of losing my baby and severe heartbreak. But i pray and talk to positive people to help me. I am currently on Celexa an antidepressant. It hasnt had a chance to kick in yet. You shoul dprobably go to a doctor and get some as well. They dont make your concerns go away but make it easier for you to cope. But for me, i need prayer, God, support, and the meds. I had a nervous breakdown. If it gets so bad that you want to die, please go to the emergency room. They will get you into the hospital and get you help without asking for money. Just please go. And i have been diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder. Outside events and some internal ones just pushed me to my breaking point. Its ok to be sad but if it dominates your life, like mine has done, professional help is needed.

Why do you get depressed? Or do you not know? My mood can change instantaneously but the reasons are usually the same: loneliness, frustration, and being overwhelmed.

Im feeling very bad but im praying and trying to get better each day. My depression has just taken me over and i lost the battle for a few days. Im getting the help i need though

Sorry i havent responded on here, i just got out of the hospital. Really rough week. Have you tried online dating. It may help if you are the shy type.
