INDO in the Ann Arbor Mi area

We are looking for some faclities to explore the possibilities of INDOor Disc Golf in the Ann Arbor area. If you are interested or know of a building that may allow us to get started let us hear from you. - Thanks

Potential Location:

I just spoke with the owner of Stonescape a landscaping company off of 8 Mile just just east of Novi road and he has three buildings there. One is great and he has kids who play Lacrosse and seemed very interested. He will let me know in a week.

I have my fingers crossed. Keep yours crossed as well.

Again I figure this year is just a proving out and having fun with the idea, hopefully get some putting and upshot practice and trying a few ideas out. Maybe culminating in a little event to spread the idea and interest around the local disc golf community.

I know it's not the best location for the Ann Arbor group but it's got to start someplace and with no funding we will take want we can to prove it out and get things moving.

On the positive side there are lots of players in the are with Cass Benton just down the street and my office is just down 8 mile so it does work OK for me.

I'd still like to find a location in Ann Arbor but we'll franchise it out as things come together and gain momentum.

We play Tuesday nights in the ballroom at the Waldorf Brew Pub and Bistro in Hastings. Currently we have five baskets set up. Looking for the sixth to make horseshoes go easier. It is a bit of a drive for the Ann Arbor people. Three or four of us go from Lansing each week, if you drove up to Lansing I am sure we could carpool from there.
