I have found just as many discs without a name&number as with name&number. With no way of returning these discs I simply use them as replacements for those I have lost.

However, I always call the numbers on the back of any discs I've found. Like you guys said, it is the right thing to do.

Today I found a Discraft Xpress in the canal between #4 and #7 at Barnett Parkside. It has the name Matt McGlynn. Wow what Karma! He's the guy that started this club!

World Champion Confiscation.... Gregg Hosfeld played doubles with us at Barnett Park last night. While our group was walking from the tee to the basket on #2, a group of casual players was approaching #1. One disc flew right in front of us, and rolled into the canal. In an act of goodwill, Hosfeld quickly rescued the sinking disc. Then he noticed our friend's name and phone # on the disc. Hosfeld kept the disc and told the player that he should have called the number. The rest of us just laughed out loud! Four holes later, we heard someone in the same group yell "I found another disc!" Gregg yelled from two fairways away "If there's a number on it, you better call.." We all laughed again... Hosfeld was right! He also picked up a couple dozen discarded beverage containers during the round. Kudos to Hos!

I played a round yesterday 280 miles from home, found two discs, made two calls, and two happy golfers got their discs back within the hour.
